Boys and Girls,
We have learned about verbs and verb phrases. Verb phrases have at least two verbs. One is a helping verb and the other is a main verb. See if you can write at least one good sentence using a verb phrase. Here is an example for you:
Our third grade class is learning a lot!
The verb phrase in that sentence is IS LEARNING.
