Social Studies -- our government
We are finishing our unit about the U. S. Government. We have learned about the three levels and the three branches at each level. We have also learned that we have a representative democracy instead of a direct democracy like in ancient Greece.
Activity:
Write a sentence telling something you have learned about government.

Children's BOOK WEEK Fun
We celebrated reading all week. Monday we wore hats; Tuesday we were crazy about reading with crazy socks; Wednesday we were cool readers and wore shades; Thursday we dressed as our favorite book characters; and Friday we had a reading rally outside. We also had a visiting author read to us on Friday. Below are some pictures from our activities.
